Elissa "EJ" Levy
President and Founder
In February of 2007, EJ founded MS Hope for a Cure, a 501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated to raising funds that can make the biggest difference in the shortest amount of time in the fight against Multiple Sclerosis. As president of MS Hope for a Cure, EJ leads the fundraising efforts and since its inception the organization has raised over 8 million dollars.
Communications & Special Events Manager
Julie joined the MS Hope Team in 2014 as the Communications and Special Events Manager. After volunteering at the organization’s All-In for a Cure Charity Poker tournament in the fall of 2013, Julie became increasingly fascinated with EJ and MS Hope’s drive and determination to advance critical MS research and support individuals living with the disease.
Previously, Julie interned at the OECD and The Rockefeller Foundation, two organizations focused on promoting the well-being of humanity. She saw herself in a role where she could help make a change in the world, and MS Hope for a Cure proved to be a great fit. Julie is honored to be working closely with individuals from all areas of the MS Community and is excited to be a part of the change to come. Julie is originally from New York City, and received her BA in Economics and Human Development from the University of Maryland in 2013.
